Two new foodie concepts will be introduced to the award-winning St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend next week.

Two new foodie concepts will be introduced to the award-winning St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend next week.

As organisers are set to brie it on, the Welcome to Wetlands Weekend wine and cheese event on Friday, 11 June 2021 will kick off with a cracker at the local recreation grounds with Blackwater songstress Greer Webley.

On the following night, Saturday, 12 June 2021, the Bushman's Evening event will feature country band Luke Geiger and Bareback and an array of foodie trucks with a variety of menus from the usual pub grub to Italian and Thai.

The sold-out Greater Whitsunday Food Network luncheon featuring celebrity chef Matt Golinski will feature some of the region's finest produce and Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia will share his gardening tips.

Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said this award-winning festival will delight and amaze the crowd with the line-up of lost trades stalls, free workshops and indigenous arts and cultural activities.

"St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend will tantalise your taste buds, invoke creativity and teach you about a nationally significant coastal wetlands right in our backyard on June 11-13," Mayor Baker said.
