Police have charged a man following a serious crash in Ningi last week.
Just before 1pm on 15 July, a police vehicle was allegedly driven at by a grey Lexus bearing stolen licence plates outside a business on Regina Avenue.
It is further alleged the Lexus then struck a white Nissan Pathfinder and a blue Toyota Corolla that were parked nearby as it fled the scene.
The Lexus was later located abandon on Bestman Road. No one was injured during the incident.
On 17 July, following subsequent investigations, police from Moreton Tactical Crime Squad arrested a man outside an address on Banfield Street in Chermside around 1.30pm.
A 45-year-old Kedron man has been charged with 12 offences including two counts each of unlicensed driving, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle and using a vehicle with false plates attached, and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, damaging an emergency service vehicle while operation a motor vehicle, failing to comply with duties of driver involved in a crash and give the drivers required particulars to the owner of property damaged, and evading police.
His bail has been denied, and he is next due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on 13 August.
