Police attended a crash at the intersection of City Road and Logan Street at Beenleigh overnight.
Shortly before 11pm a motorcyclist was struck by a Toyota Hilux utility, causing the rider to be thrown into the intersection.
The ute's driver fled the scene and police have established the ute is a stolen vehicle.
The 55-year-old male rider of the Harley Davidson was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment to a leg injury.
Police urge any witnesses or anyone with dash cam or CCTV vision from the vicinity around that time to contact police.
Investigations are continuing into the crash and stolen vehicle.
