The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has maintained its strong global standing in the 2027 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, placing 33rd globally and reaffirming its position as the highest-ranked higher education institution in Hong Kong.
The University saw a rise in its academic reputation in the latest rankings, reflecting growing global recognition of its scholarly excellence and research contributions. The results underscore HKU's sustained strength across teaching, pioneering research, and global engagement, highlighting its success in attracting world-class talent and fostering an impactful academic environment.
