Quotes to be attributed to Hobart City Councillor Ryan Posselt:

"The Big Switch On! is all about creating a magical, family-friendly experience that brings our community together to celebrate the start of the festive season.

"In July this year, we undertook engagement with the community to seek their feedback on the City's Christmas decorations, events, and activities. We listened to the community's call for more free, family-focused events at Christmas, and this new celebration is our way of making the season brighter for everyone.

"We invite everyone to join us for music, creativity, and the exciting moment when Hobart's Christmas Tree lights up the waterfront."

Quotes to be attributed to Bunny Racket founder and front bunny Andy Walker:

"Families can expect a high energy rock'n'roll roll party with a kick of nostalgia for all ages!

"In a world of overly sanitised children's entertainment, Bunny Racket are a breath of fresh air.

"November has been a huge month for touring acts across Australia - AC/DC, Metallica, Oasis and now…. Bunny Racket!"
