Home invasion in Toongabbie

Police are investigating after two teens were stabbed during a home invasion at Toongabbie overnight, NSW Police say.

Shortly before midnight today, police and emergency services were called to Rausch Street; following reports up to four men entered a home and confronted the occupants.

Two male teenagers in the home, aged 17 and 15 were injured during the melee.

The 17-year-old suffered lacerations to his leg and hand, while the 15-year-old suffered a minor laceration to his hand.

Both injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The teens were assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead for treatment.

Officers from Parramatta Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the incident, which is not believed to be random.
