As stated by Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Sears Wellington Area Police
Police have launched a homicide inquiry following a fight in Porirua this evening at about 5.40pm.
Police were called to a Parumoana Street address where man was found with serious injuries.
The victim was given medical attention, but sadly died at the scene.
The investigation is underway and Police are working to understand the circumstances of the incident.
