Homicide investigation, Highland Park

Gold Coast detectives have commenced a homicide investigation following the death of a woman in Highland Park overnight.

Police were called at around 8:30pm following reports of a woman with a gun shot wound at an address on Renfrew Drive.

A 27-year-old Labrador woman was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital where she died a short time later.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious on Renfrew Drive and Kincaid Drive or who has CCTV or dash-cam vision from the area to contact investigators.
