Hoping to Chop His Locks: Pitt Panther Cal Adomitis Raises Funds for UPMC Children's

WHAT: Cal Adomitis, team captain and long snapper of the Pittsburgh Panthers football team, will announce a fundraising challenge, with all donations directed to cancer care at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. A graduate of Pittsburgh Central Catholic, Adomitis wants to give back to the city he calls home.

Number 94 on the field, Adomitis is known for his football skills as well as his long wavy hair. He is challenging the community to raise $94,000 by the end of the season—and if his goal is met, he will chop off his signature locks.
