Police are waiting to examine a house damaged by fire at Eastern Creek overnight.
Emergency services were called to the house on Cawarra Street about 10.15pm (Monday 25 November 2019), after neighbours saw smoke from the roof.
Firefighters from Fire and Rescue extinguished the blaze however the interior has sustained significant damage.
Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command have established a crime scene which will be examined later today (Tuesday 26 November 2019).
