House fire at Dover Gardens, South Australia

Police are investigating a house fire at Dover Gardens this afternoon.

Police and fire crews responded to reports of smoke coming from the roof of a house on Seacombe Road, Dover Gardens about 4.30pm on Monday 3 December.

The house was significantly damaged by fire.

Traffic was closed on Seacombe Road in both directions between Davenport Terrace and Morphett Road while firefighters battled the fire.

Investigations revealed the vacant property was being used as a grow house.

Crime scene and fire cause investigators will attend the scene.
