Arson Squad detectives have charged a man in relation to a house fire in Kardinya yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 17 February 2021.
About 4:10pm Police were advised of a house fire in Exley Close, Kardinya. Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel were already responding to the fire at that time.
A 37-year-old man, who is linked to the property, was arrested a short time later in Cottesloe.
A 37-year-old man from Kardinya has been charged with 'Criminal Damage by Fire'. He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court today, Thursday 18 February 2021.
