House Fire in Concord

Inquiries are continuing after a house fire in Concord overnight, NSW Police say.

About 10.40pm today, emergency services were called to Mortlake Street at Concord after reports of fire in a house.

Upon arrival, emergency services discovered a small fire in the kitchen of the property, which was quickly extinguished.

Four people, who were inside the house at the time, were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Canterbury Hospital for precautionary checks.

Officers attached to Burwood Local Area Command established a crime scene and are currently investigating the matter.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
