A house in Sydney's southwest has been targeted by fire for the second time in 24 hours.
Just before 11.30pm on Monday 2 February 2026, emergency services responded to reports of a house fire at Macquarie Street, Greenacre.
This incident follows an earlier incident around 1am yesterday (Monday 2 February 2026), when emergency services responded to reports that a firebomb had been thrown at the same home on Macquarie Street, Greenacre, igniting a fire.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire on both occasions.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into both incidents, which are believed to be linked.
The home is presently un-occupied.
There were no reports of any person being injured.
