House fire in Revesby

Emergency services remain at the scene of a house fire in Revesby this morning, NSW Police say.

Officers were called to the Polo Street home about 2.45am (Tuesday 31 July 2018) after receiving numerous calls that a house was well alight.

Fire & Rescue NSW officers work to extinguish the blaze while police from Bankstown have secured the scene and will commence inquiries.

At this stage officers believe the house to be unoccupied, however a search of the premises is yet to be completed.

A number of properties surrounding the home have been evacuated as a precaution.

There are no reports of any injuries.
