Household Chemical CleanOut: Bayside 17 February

Bayside Council is inviting residents to safely and responsibly dispose of unwanted household chemicals at a Household Chemical CleanOut on Sunday 29 March.

Delivered in partnership with the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), the free CleanOut event will take place at Bexley Depot, 10-14 Rye Avenue, Bexley, from 9am to 3.30pm.

The service provides a convenient and environmentally friendly way to clear out garages, sheds and cupboards while protecting our local environment.

Residents can drop off household quantities of a wide range of items, including paint, oils, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals, batteries, gas bottles and fluorescent globes. These materials require specialist handling and should never be placed in household bins.

The Chemical CleanOut helps prevent hazardous substances from contaminating Council's regular waste and recycling streams, waterways and natural areas, while supporting a cleaner, safer community for everyone.
