Warning icon
When you arrive on the homepage, select the warning icon from the main menu in the top right of your screen.
You can also select the warning icon from any page on the website.
Selecting the warning icon will take you to the Warnings and alerts page where you can see all current warnings and alerts for all states and territories.
On this page, you can filter warnings by warning type or location. You can also select the 'Use my current location' button to see any current warnings for where you are now, based on your device settings.
Homepage
When you arrive on the homepage, you will see the forecast for capital cities and a yellow link to 'Current warnings'.
Under the yellow link to 'Current warnings' is a list showing the number of current warnings for each state and territory.
Selecting your state or territory takes you to the Warnings and alerts page, with your selected state or territory at the top.
Search for a location
When you arrive on the homepage, select either 'Use my current location' or 'Search for a location' and enter the name of your location. If you already have one or more locations saved as favourites, use the favourites (star) icon at the top right of your screen to select your location.
Once your location page has loaded, a 'Current warnings' bar below the location name will appear yellow if there are any current warnings or grey when there are no warnings, or cancelled warnings.
Selecting the bar will open a drop-down menu, allowing you to see at a glance what type of warnings are current for that location.
