HOYTS Cinemas is advancing its joint venture with ACE Cinemas, with the Rockingham location to be rebranded as ACE HOYTS Rockingham this May. The site has long served local audiences under the ACE banner and will now operate under the new ACE HOYTS identity, marking the next phase of the partnership in Western Australia.

Australia's number one cinema circuit, HOYTS, first teamed up with WA's long-standing movie exhibitor ACE in October 2023. Since then, the collaboration has focused on revitalising cinemas such as Midland Gate, with Rockingham next in line.

CEO & President Damian Keogh said HOYTS takes pride in collaborating closely with local partners like ACE to deliver the best possible cinema experience for guests.

"We're excited to grow our partnership with ACE Cinemas at Rockingham. Building on the success of Midland Gate, we remain focused on delivering a high-quality cinema experience for the local community," Damian said.

ACE Cinemas General Manager Jeremy Pye said the team is delighted to once again partner with HOYTS.

"Our commitment to exceptional customer experiences remains front and centre. Our past collaboration with HOYTS gives us confidence that Rockingham will continue to be a beloved local cinema, creating memorable movie moments for every visit," Jeremy said.

To preserve the experience guests cherish, ACE HOYTS Rockingham will take a similar approach to the Midland Gate joint venture. Existing ACE Club Members will be seamlessly transferred to the HOYTS Rewards Loyalty Program, ensuring moviegoers can still enjoy benefits such as savings on tickets.

Guests can look forward to an elevated cinema experience as ACE HOYTS Rockingham enters its next chapter, with plans in place for a refurbishment in 2027. The future upgrade will further strengthen the site's position as a leading entertainment destination for movie lovers across the region.
