Human Remains Found in Tony Rowe Disappearance Case: Police Update

Northern Territory Police have located human remains that are believed to be Mr Tony Rowe.

Detectives from Major Crime located the remains south of Darwin on Friday and a crime scene was established.

Acting Deputy Commissioner Michael White APM said "Detectives have upgraded the 29-year-old man's charge from violent act cause death to murder.

"Investigative work undertaken to locate the remains has been able to provide closure to the family of Mr Rowe.

"The dedication, commitment and attention to detail by all officers involved is to be commended."
