Hume City Council has reinforced its stance on illegal dumping with a strong crackdown on offenders through the 'Dob in a Dumper' campaign since August.
Dob in a Dumper encourages residents to report rubbish dumped in public spaces in a combined effort to keep the Hume community clean for all to enjoy.
Illegal dumping is a costly and damaging problem that affects the environment, public health, and the look of our parks, roads and residential areas.
Council is regularly inundated with reports of senseless dumping, which officers spend countless hours cleaning up and should never have been put there in the first place.
The Dob in a Dumper campaign not only highlights the damage this behaviour causes our community, but also the enforcement processes in place for offenders.
If you witness illegal dumping or any suspicious activities in the community, Dob in a Dumper.
