Identity Theft - Helping to Safeguard your Identity

Identity Theft imageEach year one in four Australians are victims of identity crime. If your proof of identity documents or credentials are stolen or fraudulently accessed, it can be hard to know where to start. ID Support NSW, in conjunction with Hawkesbury Library Service, will host a free Cyber Safety workshop on Tuesday, 5 September 2023 at 10am.

ID Support NSW works across government with industry groups and local communities to prevent data breaches and to respond with best practice when they do occur. The workshop is a foundation course on protecting your identity and staying safe online. Participants will receive take home learning material and are offered one-on-one follow up sessions with an ID Support Advisor.

The free workshop will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor.

Bookings are essential via www.hawkesburylibrary.eventbrite.com or call the Library on 4560 4460.
