Important message from Senior Management Team
Dear colleagues and students,
Due to continued uncertainties in the transportation system and in light of the time needed to repair some of the damage to facilities across the campus, all classes will be suspended on Wednesday 13 November.
The University however will remain open and we are working towards resuming full operations. Heads of departments and units should communicate clearly with colleagues about working arrangements.
They should also allow flexibility when considering the travel arrangements of their colleagues (i.e. arrival and departure times, to and from campus), especially those who live further away from the University and are affected by transportation disruptions.
We will continue to monitor and assess the situation daily, and will post updates to the University's FaceBook page, HKU App and HKU Portal and website as appropriate and send bulk emails as necessary.
