Cancer Network WA is conducting a statewide consultation to identify the most important changes that would improve the WA health system for cancer patients, and you are invited to express your interest.
Those with lived experience of cancer, either as a patient or as a carer/next of kin, are invited to participate in a consumer forum, where you will give a two-minute presentation sharing your ideas for improving the WA health system for cancer patients, contribute to group discussions, and hear other participants' perspectives. Ideas will be collated to identify common themes.
Three consumer forums will be held in March:
- Monday 16 March, 6-7:30 pm - Metropolitan (North of the river), Cancer Council WA, 420 Bagot Rd, Subiaco (light meal provided from 5:45 pm)
- Tuesday 17 March, 6-7:30 pm - Metropolitan (South of the river), Ground Floor Education Building, Fiona Stanley Hospital (light meal provided from 5:45 pm)
- Monday 23 March, 5-7 pm - Regional / Remote (Online via Microsoft Teams)
You may apply to attend one forum. We aim to ensure equitable representation across common tumour groups, and selection will depend on the number of applications received per tumour type. To support meaningful discussion, places are limited - please nominate only one participant per family.
Applications close Tuesday 3 March 2026.
