Indecent touching, masseuse charged at Ryde

A man has been charged with sexual touching following alleged incidents at a massage parlour in Sydney's north-west earlier this year.

In March 2021, officers from Ryde Police Area Command commenced an investigation after receiving reports that a 71-year-old woman was receiving a massage in a shopping centre in Devlin Street, Ryde, when the male masseuse placed her hand on his genital area.

A further two complaints were received by officers in May 2021, where it's alleged the same man indecently touched two women, aged 36 and 39, during their massage treatments.

None of the women are known to each other.

Following inquiries, a 56-year-old man was arrested at Ryde Police Station about 6.45pm yesterday (Friday 4 June 2021) and charged with three counts of incite another to sexually touch them without consent.

He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Hornsby Local Court next month (Friday 30 July 2021).
