Austrade's second Indonesia Landing Pad program bought 7 prominent Australian health tech companies to Indonesia from 26-28 May for a curated in-market immersion program.
Delegates had tailored opportunities to engage with clinicians and industry leaders from across Indonesia's growing healthcare sector. They also met with industry mentors, regulators and legal experts to:
- deepen their understanding of Indonesia's healthcare transformation needs
- calibrate their go-to-market strategies
- develop numerous commercial leads.
Closed-door pitching with senior industry executives is a signature component of the Indonesia Landing Pad immersion program. Delegates benefitted from direct feedback on product market fit and localisation strategies, followed by tailored business-matching with prospective partners and customers in-market.
A highlight of the program was a site visit to workshop digital health solutions with executives and clinicians at Indonesia's growing Bethsaida Hospital group. The site visit allowed the cohort to connect with users, observe market needs and explore how their products could improve healthcare provision in Indonesia.

One key takeaway from the discussion was how accessible and configurable solutions can enhance the delivery of essential healthcare services, as well as tools to improve public health outcomes.

Delegates are also building on their participation in the Indonesia Landing Pad 6-week virtual bootcamp by engaging with their in-market mentors. This practical, industry-informed advice has helped them to better position their products for success in Indonesia.
