Police are investigating after a man followed a 12-year-old girl in Launching Place in July, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told the girl got off a school bus along Warburton Highway about 3.30pm on Friday 22 July and became aware of a man following her in a vehicle.
The man followed her closely in the vehicle for about 5 minutes, at times smiling at her before driving away.
Police have released an image of a man and vehicle they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The man is described to be about 40-years-old, with dark skin and wearing a black beanie.
Investigators urge anyone who may have information about the man or vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers.
