Information Sought - Burglaries in Clarendon Vale and Rokeby

Bellerive CIB are seeking information from the public as to the location of stolen property and possible suspects following a series of burglaries in the suburbs of Clarendon Vale and Rokeby over recent weeks.

Police report that several education and community facilities have been targeted with mountain bikes, power tools and electrical items reported stolen.

Detective Sergeant Felicity Boyd from Bellerive CIB said "It is disappointing that education and community facilities are being targeted, particularly when they provide attendees with opportunities to learn new skills through specifically designed programs in building and maintaining bicycles, hydroponics and aquaculture; and they are designed to bring the community together. These facilities have lost many tools as well as laptop computers and a television'.

Police have recovered some stolen mountain bikes and continue to follow lines of enquiry in relation to suspects and the location of outstanding property which includes:

  • a yellow Avanti brand mountain bike,
  • a red Specialised brand BMX (picture attached),
  • Ozito, Makita and Milwaukee brand hand power tools, and
  • an ACER brand laptop.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestopperstas.com.au – information can be provided anonymously.
