Innovative new drive-share platform chooses Wagga Wagga as its first regional market

PKUP

Wagga Wagga, you've heard of ride-share platforms, but have you heard of drive-share? Well now you have.

Innovative app-based drive-share platform, PKUP, this week launches in Wagga – providing local residents and visitors with an easy and affordable way to get their car (and them) 'home' in just a few taps.
The PKUP platform first established its roots in Canberra, and due to its success there has now expanded its offering of a safe and convenient personal driver solution to the regional market of Wagga. The arrival of PKUP into Wagga is part of a broad national expansion plan, with Wagga specifically chosen as the very first regional market for the offering of the PKUP service.
"Wagga Wagga… We're here!" said PKUP Chief Executive Officer, Joshua Gonzalez.
"As one of the most exciting, fast-growing and dynamic regional markets, it was a logical decision to bring all that PKUP offers to the Wagga community."
"We are undertaking a driver recruitment campaign this month with the goal to create income-earning opportunities for 50+ locals, with a number of PKUP drivers are already available to transport riders home, back to base, or across Wagga – whatever their needs may be."
The PKUP app taps into an on-demand system connecting riders with drivers, allowing the user to select whether they want a driver to move them and their car, or just their car.
"One of the most popular reasons for using PKUP is to eliminate the risk of driving after a few drinks by having a dedicated PKUP driver arrive on request to drive your car home after you've had a few beers at the pub, a BBQ with family or friends, or a girls night out. The reasons for using PKUP though don't stop there."
"We want the Wagga community to know they can enjoy their time out and about without having to worry about how they'll get their car – and family or friends – home," Mr Gonzalez said.
"Using PKUP is easy.
