International Beer Day

Brewers Association of Australia

International Beer Day.

The Brewers Association of Australia celebrates International Beer Day 2025 by recognising that every beer enjoyed represents the skills of nearly 100,000 workers across the country who grow, brew, transport, sell and serve Australia's great beers.

With more choices than ever to meet Australians changing tastes and trends - from full-strength to mid, low and no-alcohol brews, gluten-free and low carb options - there is no better time to get together and enjoy a beer. This year, International Beer Day coincides with the commencement of the Albanese Government's two-year freeze on draught beer excise, making a reason to meet up with family and friends at your local pub, club or licenced venue for a beer, even better.

On behalf of our members, Brewers is proud of the contribution our industry makes to our national economy, to local economies and to communities all around the country, and thanks everyone across the brewing supply chain for the wonderful products Australians love.

International Beer Day is a celebration of culture, craftsmanship and community, the world over. Get together.
