Interstate stowaway arrested, South Australia

One man was arrested this morning after allegedly stowing away on an interstate freight train.

At about 6.15am on Wednesday 21 October, a rail supervisor located the man after the train arrived in Adelaide and police were alerted

The train had departed Dimboola, Victoria last night where it is alleged the man boarded the train.

Patrols responded and the male was arrested

The man, aged 41 had submitted a Cross Border Travel Registration form however, failed to await the outcome and was arrested and charged with breaching COVID-19 Directions.

He has been refused police bail and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
