An investigation is underway after a shot was fired into a home in Sydney’s south, NSW Police say.
Police have been told a 43-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man were involved in an argument with two males at a home on Argle Street, Penshurst, about 3.30am today, with the pair leaving the location.
A short time later, emergency services were called to the home, following reports of a shot fired just before 4am, and upon arrival police located damage to a window and an inside wall.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 43-year-old woman at the scene for minor grazes, believed to be caused by debris.
The 57-year-old man and a second adult man were not injured during the incident.
Officers attached to St George Local Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation.
Inquiries are continuing.
