Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate James McArdle.
A warrant has been issued for the 29-year-olds arrest in relation to arson incidents.
McArdle is described as 180cm tall, medium build, brown hair and has an Irish accent.
He has a number of tattoo including one on his left arm saying "Only the strong survive".
He is known to frequent Melbourne CBD and St Kilda.
Investigators have released an image of McArdle in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
