Superstar fullbacks James Tedesco (Sydney Roosters) and Tamika Upton (Brisbane Broncos) have been crowned the 2025 Dally M Medal winners.
Tedesco capped a wonderful individual season with the game's highest individual honour, while Upton was crowned the female champion just days out from a Grand Final appearance.
Tedesco scorched to a win in the NRL Dally M Medal race, winning by 22 points from Penrith Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary (45 points), Dolphins star Isaiya Katoa and Brisbane Broncos prop Payne Haas (44 points).
On a night for the fullbacks, Upton (35 points), beat her Broncos teammate Julia Robinson (32 points), followed by Jesse Southwell (31) and Upton's Grand Final opponent this Sunday, Sydney Roosters Isabelle Kelly (29 points).
"2025 is the story of a record-breaking season," NRL CEO Andrew Abdo said. "More viewers, bigger crowds, higher engagement, more kids playing - than ever before in the game's history.
"None of this would be possible without the players who produce the miracles and the magnificence.
"Thank you to each and every one of you - from the rookies to the retiring players. You have all played your part in producing the most watched season on record."
Both NRL Grand Finalists had two players in the Dally M Team of the Year.
Melbourne Storm boasted Winger of the Year Xavier Coates along with Second-rower of the year Eliesa Katoa, while Brisbane Broncos were rewarded for their season with Centre of the Year Kotoni Staggs and Prop of the Year Payne Haas.
Tedesco had a stellar night, also claiming Captain of the Year, along with Fullback of the Year. Tedesco's teammate Robert Toia won Rookie of the Year honours, while Canberra Raiders' Ricky Stuart was crowned Coach of the Year.
Raiders young gun Ethan Strange took out Five-Eighth of the Year, along with Tackle of the Year. Mark Nawaqanitawase won Winger of the Year, Try of the Year, not to mention the Ken Irvine Medal for top try-scorer.
2025 NRL Telstra Women's Premiership Grand Finalists Sydney Roosters (Centre Isabelle Kelly and Lock of the Year Olivia Kernick) and Brisbane Broncos (fullback Tamika Upton, Centre Julia Robinson, five-eighth Gayle Broughton and Romy Teitzel) dominated the women's team of the year.
Sydney Roosters, who took out the NRLW Minor Premiership, capped a wonderful night with John Strange (Coach of the Year) and Isabelle Kelly (Captain of the Year) earning honours on the night.
