Jetstar Launches New Brisbane, Perth Routes to Philippines

Tuesday, 15 July 2025: Jetstar Airways is expanding its international network with two exciting new routes between Australia and the Philippines launching later this year.

From 27 November 2025*, travellers can fly direct from Perth to the vibrant capital of Manila year-round, and seasonal flights from Brisbane to the tropical paradise of Cebu will take off from 3 December* 2025.

The new services will operate three times a week using Jetstar's next-generation Airbus A321LR aircraft, part of the airline's quieter and more fuel-efficient fleet.

Together the routes will add more than 108,000 low-fare seats annually opening up incredible new holiday options for

Australian travellers - from the white-sand beaches of Cebu to the energy and culture of Manila.

Jetstar's growth

The launch of these new services is part of Jetstar's broader commitment to delivering great value travel experiences across the Asia-Pacific, with the airline launching or announcing 20 new domestic and international routes since June 2024.

This expansion is being driven by Jetstar's investment in new state-of-the-art Airbus A321LR and A320neo aircraft, alongside redeployment of its wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliners on longer-haul services.

Jetstar Group CEO, Stephanie Tully said the new routes highlight Jetstar's continued growth from Australia to Asia.

"The launch of low fares direct flights to the Philippines is an exciting milestone, unlocking two amazing destinations for Aussie travellers.

"From the pristine beaches of Cebu to the vibrant energy of Manila, these new routes offer greater value options for an overseas holiday.

"As demand for low-cost international travel continues to grow, our pipeline of new aircraft is helping us deliver even more low fares to new destinations - so our customers can take off more, for less."

Brisbane Airport CEO Gert-Jan de Graaff said: "We know Queenslanders love to experience new destinations and Cebu will deliver in spades with gorgeous islands and people, rich Spanish colonial history, and vibrant street food culture, it is a tropical getaway waiting to be discovered.

"It also strengthens important ties for Queensland's large Filipino community, making it easier to connect with family, while boosting trade and business between two regions.

"This new route marks Brisbane Airport's 34th direct international connection, which is the most ever, continuing our commitment to expanding travel opportunities and bringing the world closer to Queensland."
