Police have charged Jonathan Dick following his arrest in Melbourne CBD this morning.
The 41-year-old has been charged with one count of murder in relation to the death of David Dick at Doncaster shopping centre on 3 February, 2017.
He is due to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court shortly.
Police were called to a car park on the corner of Flinders Street and Hosier Lane shortly before 7.50am today following reports two men had restrained a third man.
It's believed an assault occurred and all three parties suffered injuries.
The investigation into this incident and an assault in Keilor in 2018 remains ongoing.
