With the appointments of Rijpma and Campos Delgado, staff from Leiden Law School are now active in all three University region groups.
As part of Leiden University’s internationalisation strategy, in 2015 it introduced so-called region policy. Three region groups were established for the regions China, Indonesia, and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The objective of each region group, which meets four to five times a year, is to bundle University activities related to the region and to ensure that we make better use of our expertise and networks in the region.
Our faculty was already represented in the China Region Group and the Indonesia Region Group, and now with these recent appointments it is also represented in the Latin America and the Caribbean Region Group.
