Residents and businesses in Kalkite are advised that sewer main works are scheduled to commence from Monday 14 November 2022 through to Thursday 22 December 2022, weather permitting.
This is essential maintenance and investigation work to safeguard reliable sewer services for the Kalkite community.
Works will be carried out from 7am to 6pm weekdays and 8am to 3pm Saturdays.
There may be some delays and disruptions to traffic, with local traffic permitted under site staff direction.
Scheduled work:
- closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection of the main sewer pipes
- high pressure water jetting
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR RESIDENTS:
Please leave your toilet lids down with a small weight placed on the lid (about 2kg) while cleaning works are being completed to avoid accidental toilet spurts.
Our crew will require some access onto private property on weekdays to complete sewer main investigation works.
Interflow has been awarded this contract and will be issuing notices directly to individual residents prior to any works being conducted on private property.
Council apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause and asks residents and motorists to be mindful of crews and machinery that will be working on and around this project.
