Yesterday evening, our community experienced an unfortunate incident where the Christmas tree in town was destroyed.
While the exact cause is still under investigation by police, what truly stands out is the incredible community of Kempsey.
In true Kempsey spirit, residents and local businesses have come together with ideas and solutions to keep the festive spirit alive. We're pleased to share that, in collaboration with the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club, a new Christmas tree will soon be installed to bring joy and cheer back to the heart of our community.
Thank you to everyone who has rallied together, your support reminds us what makes Kempsey such a special place.
