- AgriFutures 2025 National Rural Women's Award runner-up announced asKimberley businesswoman Isabella Thrupp

Kimberley innovator and pastoralist Isabella Thrupp has been recognised as runner-up in the 2025 AgriFutures Rural Women's Award at a gala event in Canberra Tuesday night.
Ms Thrupp founded the online business Prinking In Pindan, which creates stylish and durable clothing suitable for the demanding lifestyle of rural women.
She also managesLeopold Downs Station, a pastoral station in the Kimberley, with her partner.
Ms Thrupp represented Western Australia at the prestigious national award, which celebrates the essential role women play in rural industries, businesses and communities.
Her business began out of the need for jeans that couldwithstand the harsh conditions of outback Australia.
Ms Thrupp is passionate about fostering connections between rural and urban communities, championing sustainability and innovation.
As the national runner-up, Ms Thrupp receives a $15,000 Westpac grant tofurther support her project, which is exploring Australian-made clothing research and development, particularly cotton and wool fabric blends, and undertake professional development.
Women living, working and making a difference across regional and rural Western Australia are encouraged to nominate now for the 2026 AgriFutures Rural Women's Award, with applicationsclosing on 7 November 2025.
