Kings County Mechanical Ltd. Aims to Improve Efficiencies

Supporting businesses in rural communities helps create opportunities for business growth and good paying jobs for the middle-class and those looking to join it.

Sussex-based Kings County Mechanical Ltd. understands that in order to be competitive, companies need to be as efficient as possible. With the help of the Government of Canada, this welding and fabricating shop will access the expertise it needs to improve efficiencies in order to grow its business. The Government of Canada is providing a non-repayable contribution of almost $34,000 for the project through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).

Alaina Lockhart, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie and Member of Parliament for Fundy Royal, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for ACOA, along with Kings County Mechanical Ltd. officials, made the announcement today.

The Government of Canada is making smart investments that will create good, middle-class jobs in our country. It is helping small and medium-sized businesses to start-up, expand or modernize and supporting not-for-profit organizations to fuel business growth. Support for this project is one way the Government of Canada is working to achieve its Atlantic Growth Strategy outcome of long-term economic prosperity in the region.
