Nature will soar at Kings Park with the never-before-seen visual spectacular Moortabiny drone show.
The immersive celebration of Country, connection, and the natural environment will form the grand finale of the Everlasting Kings Park Festival and the Western Australian Botanic Garden's 60th anniversary celebrations.
In the first drone show ever presented by Kings Park and Botanic Garden, event goers can expect powerful storytelling based on the work of two-time Miles Franklin Literary Award-winning author, Professor Kim Scott, brought to life in the sky.
Moortabiny, which means Becoming Family, will transform the night with stunning formations inspired by Western Australian landscapes, native flora, and the changing rhythms of the natural world.
The drone display will be accompanied by an immersive soundscape, sonic stations sharing stories of significant trees and native species, all within the beautiful Western Australian Botanic Garden.
Moortabiny will be staged over three nights from 2-4 October and tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
Food stalls and refreshments will also be available.
This quietly powerful, environmentally conscious event is sure to be a memorable night for the whole family.
