Korumburra South burglary

Bass Coast Crime Investigation Unit detectives continue to investigate a burglary which occurred in Korumburra South in March.

Investigators have been told a burglary was committed at a farmhouse on Korumburra South Road sometime between 8.30am and 5pm on Thursday 28 March.

The offenders stole a large sum of cash and three firearms from the property.

A phone call was made to police from a public phone in Doncaster East about 1am on Friday 29 March.

The male caller told police that the firearms had been dumped in a bin at the Nyora Cemetery.

Police attended the cemetery and recovered the firearms.

Investigators have released images and CCTV footage of a man that they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
