With the latest EMRS showing the only way Labor can form Government is with the Greens, Labor heavyweights are laying the groundwork.
Former Labor Premier David Bartlett has told 6 News:
I actually believe that effectively the Greens are the left wing of the Labor Party and that if progressive people like me want to see continuing Labor Governments or progressive Governments, I should say, in Tasmania, we need to find a way to work with the Greens.
Mr Bartlett knows all about doing deals with the Greens.
He famously negotiated a deal with the Greens in 2010 during a bike ride up Mount Wellington.
It's now clear: Labor's getting the bikes out of the shed for another go.
We know how it ended up last time.
And it will happen again.
A Labor-Green Government will make Tasmania pay.
