Labor's attempt to lock homeowners into a 30-year commitment in return for land tax relief is dodgy, dangerous and quite possibly illegal.
Labor should be aware of the pitfalls of demanding binding commitments across multiple future terms of government.

It's simply ludicrous to lock in these provisions across a three decade timeframe.
Let's not forget that Labor announced a shack exemption from land tax and then reversed it a year later. Labor simply can't be trusted on land tax.
