Land access and coexistence: AgForce makes submission

AgForce has made a submission to the State Government to help influence coexistence outcomes between landholders and resources companies.

To ensure the growth of Queensland's resources sector, the industry must work with landholders, communities and other industries in a spirit of sustainable relationships founded on mutual benefit and respect.

The State Government has been seeking feedback on a revised set of coexistence principles for landholders and resources companies, and the government institutions that support them.

Consultation has now closed and in response to stakeholder feedback, the Government will revise the land access principles and integrate them into the Land Access Code.

AgForce has called for a range of improvements to the current framework.
