Undergrounding of the electrical network is continuing in Lennox Head town centre this week as part of the Lennox Village Vision project.
On Thursday 10 February 2022 Ballina Shire Council contractors will need to cut across the road in two locations at the southern end of Ballina Street, between numbers 56 and 62 Ballina Street.
One lane will be closed and traffic control in place. Motorists are encouraged to use Park Lane as an alternative route where possible.
There will be further lane closures on Tuesday 15 February 2022 and Wednesday 16 February 2022 when these works continue. Traffic control will be in place on these dates, with one lane open, as Council's contractors dig out the road, install conduit, and backfill.
Car parking in Ballina Street will be reduced during these times. Local residents and visitors are encouraged to use alternative parking and walk to Ballina Street.
