Last Call To Nominate For Shellharbour Community Awards

Nominations for the 2024 Shellharbour Community Awards are closing soon, so don't miss your chance to nominate someone special.

The awards are designed to encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contributions of individuals, communities and businesses in Shellharbour City.

Nominations close 17 December. Categories include:

• Australia Day Citizen of the Year

• Australia Day Young Citizen of the Year (under 25)

• Contribution to the Arts

• Environmental Warrior of the Year

• Young Environmental Warrior of the Year

• Sports Star of the Year

Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said the awards were a wonderful way to recognise and honour people who had made a meaningful contribution to the community over the past year.

"I encourage everyone to think about the people they know who have gone above and beyond to help others with time and generosity, as well as individuals and organisations who have achieved sporting success," Mayor Homer said.
