Cleveland Street has reopened in Surry Hills after a crash involving a car and pedestrian.

Cleveland Street was closed between Elizabeth Street and Young Street.

Diversions have been lifted, and one lane of Cleveland Street is now open in each direction.

Motorists are advised to take care and follow the directions of emergency services on site.

Meanwhile, some roads are still closed across Sydney due to flooding.

  • Botany Road is closed between Bourke Road/Bourke Street and Mandible Street in Alexandria.
  • Stanmore Road is closed between Liberty Street and Enmore Road at Stanmore.
  • Wakehurst Parkway is closed between Oxford Falls and Narrabeen.
  • Oxford Falls Road is closed closed between Wakehurst Parkway and Aroona Road at Oxford Falls.
  • Audley Weir is still closed in the Royal National Park.

Motorists are reminded to drive to the conditions and never drive through floodwaters.

In addition to state managed roads, some local roads managed by councils may also be affected.
