Latest Works Update

Following the opening of the new Mary Carlton's bridge in December, work is continuing on the new Bruxner bridge and Archinals bridge under the NSW Government's Fixing Country Bridges program, with work now also commencing on the replacement of Hopson's bridge.

Both wet weather and COVID have caused some delays to the bridge replacement program and we appreciate the community's patience and cooperation when traveling through these construction areas.

Project Contractors are continuing the rehabilitation of Clarence Town Road (Segment 1), as well as working on the Clarence Town Road and Glen William Road intersection.

Black Spot works are also being undertaken on Clarence Town Road, north of Brentwood Drive.

In addition, works are continuing on Paterson River Road and Salisbury Road. These works are funded under the NSW Government's Fixing Local Road's program and council's Special Rate Variation.

We ask all residents to please use caution when traveling through road construction zones and to please report any identified hazards to council as soon as possible.
