The City of Fremantle is offering residents the opportunity to learn practical ways to live a more sustainable lifestyle and take real action on climate change.
This Living Smart short course will be run over four Thursday evenings starting from 28 November at The Meeting Place in South Fremantle.
The course is free for City of Fremantle ratepayers and residents. People from outside of Fremantle can join a waitlist for any remaining places.
The Living Smart course will be facilitated by environmental educator Shani Graham who, along with partner Tim Darby, is well known in Fremantle for operating sustainable bed and breakfast accommodation The Painted Fish, founding the Hulbert Street Sustainability Fiesta and creating their latest development Ecoburbia in Beaconsfield.
Ms Graham said the team had presented over 45 Living Smart courses but this one would be a bit different as the topics covered will be chosen by the participants.
